Riverside
Brass book 2005 concert following success
The hugely
popular Chester-le-street Riverside Brass Band have
confirmed their interest at performing at the Little Theatre
in 2005 following the success of their latest concert held
in October 2004.
This was the
second time the band had performed at the Little Theatre and
an almost capacity audience enjoyed a wide-ranging musical
programme.
The bands
Musical Director Ian Robinson provided an informative but
humorous narration through the programme.
Reaction to
the performance was very positive, with many of the audience
having returned following their attendance at the previous
concert (held in 2003).
The staging
and venue were also highly praised as was the lighting.
'Lovely
Theatre'
Many band
members commented how it was a pleasure to perform in such a
'lovely theatre' and they expressed their desire to make the
concert a regular annual event.
Although no
date has been confirmed, it is most probable a third concert
will take place in autumn 2005.
Details of the
Riverside Band's engagements can be found on their website
(see web link below).
