Dawn joined the Progressive Players in 1999. Initially her interests lay in backstage duties doing prompting and props for numerous productions. Her involvement on stage was by accident and since then she has appeared in numerous productions. Her two children are now used to seeing their mother appear on stage, most recently in the September 2009 production 'Natural Causes'.
